好用句 at one’s beck and call 随时听某人差遣，任人摆布
beck 是“点头，招手”这类叫人过来的动作。“我随时乐意为你服务”可以说 (I’m) at your service. 而 at one’s beck and call 就是人家点个头、招个手，就赶紧过去看要做什么，也就是“任人摆布”，因带有负面意味，常与 not 连用。
