【大紀元2015年12月23日訊】美國獨立音樂人彼得‧荷蘭斯（Peter Hollens）是一位清唱歌手。在最新錄製的MV中，他獨自坐在教堂裡演唱一首聖誕歌，視頻發布兩週，已獲400多萬次點閱、2萬多聽眾點讚。
這首歌曲《瑪麗，你知道嗎？》（Mary, Did You know?）的歌詞由馬克‧勞利（Mark Lowry）創作於1984年，六年後由巴迪‧格林（Buddy Greene）譜曲，1998年被蓋瑟人聲樂隊（Gaither Vocal Band）收入聖誕專輯。此歌並且被肯尼‧羅傑斯（Kenny Rogers）等歌手翻唱，成為一首新世代的流行聖誕歌曲。
荷蘭斯推出的版本採取「聲部漸入」的手法，最多同時有六個聲部合唱，視頻也進行了影像合成，效果真的很動人。
