經常默默靜坐
在前埕
當夜裡

默默無言
像兩顆在野地裡
靜默無言的石頭

夜越來越深
夏日的熱氣漸消
星星的光越來越淡……

靜默無言
相互間似無可談
卻可感覺得出
對方的氣息和心跳

那是早年
在我鄉下的舊居
在前埕
當夏夜
整整一個夏夜

而現在呢
我困在城市裡
他則已經走了
那時情景已不再

他是我的父親……

We often sit silently
On the front yard
In the night

Keep silent
Like silent stones
On the wild country

The night is deeper and deeper
The hot weather is disappeared slowly
The star light is fainted slowly

Keep silent
There seems no word to told each other
Yet can feel
The breath and heartbeat with each other

It’s in the early year
In my former dwelling in the countryside
On the front yard
During the summer night
During whole the summer night

And now
I encircle in the metropolis
And he is passed
The scene isn’t again

He is my father…@
