一層一層的瀑布由遠遠的山巒那邊流瀉下來，經過一小段平潭後往下沖貫，又經過一小段緩流再直瀉而下，形成一道一道的瀑布群。在這如詩如歌的境界裡，我們彷彿能聽得到萬馬奔騰的激瀑聲。……

我常覺得在繪畫的「過程」中即能得到無限的快樂。對於繪畫，我們不必懸一個什麼特殊的標的，或什麼偉大的思想（謂藝術目的乃在於「教化人倫」、「移風易俗」什麼的），只要在繪畫的過程當中，我們的情緒能夠獲得抒解，能展現自我，淨化自我的心靈就足夠了。

A cascading waterfall with many levels appears in the distant mountain mists. The water repeatedly lingers in a gentler-flowing section then continues its rush down the mountainside, creating a series of waterfalls. The lyrical state evoked by this painting can almost make us hear the roar of the crashing falls.

I often derive a sense of boundless joy from the painting "process." There's no need to have some special goals or any great thoughts (like thinking that art is "morally uplifting and edifying") when painting. The most important thing is that the process of painting can lighten my mood, express my self, and cleanse my soul.＠
