一层一层的瀑布由远远的山峦那边流泻下来，经过一小段平潭后往下冲贯，又经过一小段缓流再直泻而下，形成一道一道的瀑布群。在这如诗如歌的境界里，我们仿佛能听得到万马奔腾的激瀑声。……

我常觉得在绘画的“过程”中即能得到无限的快乐。对于绘画，我们不必悬一个什么特殊的标的，或什么伟大的思想（谓艺术目的乃在于“教化人伦”、“移风易俗”什么的），只要在绘画的过程当中，我们的情绪能够获得抒解，能展现自我，净化自我的心灵就足够了。

A cascading waterfall with many levels appears in the distant mountain mists. The water repeatedly lingers in a gentler-flowing section then continues its rush down the mountainside, creating a series of waterfalls. The lyrical state evoked by this painting can almost make us hear the roar of the crashing falls.

I often derive a sense of boundless joy from the painting "process." There's no need to have some special goals or any great thoughts (like thinking that art is "morally uplifting and edifying") when painting. The most important thing is that the process of painting can lighten my mood, express my self, and cleanse my soul.＠
