從退休那時起
就把手錶扔了
曾經信誓旦旦不再去戴
以免被時間的鎖鏈所綁
已經十幾年沒戴手錶了
沒什麼公務在身
不再被時間拘禁
不再住既定刻板監牢
是多麼自由自在呀！
做什麼事都可隨心所欲
可以把思想放手，任其自由奔馳
可以在海闊天空裡自由創造
正自得意，悠哉遊哉過日子
再沒有什麼綁手綁腳的事了
不料女兒前往義大利旅遊
卻買回了瑞士名錶給我
怎麼辦呢？……
經過多日思考
還是戴上吧！
沒辦法呀！
人生在世，不得
不被情絲纏死
有很多事是無法自主的
讓「我手腕上那道手錶的痕跡」再現吧！

Tanglement Hsu ChiCheng
Since the moment I retired
I threw away my wrist-watch
Vowing solemnly not to wear it anymore
To be free from the tanglement of chains of time
Over a decade without wrist-watch
I am disengaged
And free from the constraint of time
Away from the rigid house of prison
How free I am now!
I can do whatever I like
I can let my idea and thought roam
Between heaven and earth
While I feel at home and at ease
Nothing to bind my hands and feet
My daughter went to Italy for sightseeing
And bought a Swiss watch for me
What to do about it? …
After days of thinking
I just put it on
There is no way out!
While living in the world, we
Are all tangled with emotions
In many things we do not make our own decisions
Then let “the trace of watch on my wrist” appear again!
