一曲韶樂，讓孔子深受感動，滌盪心胸，久久不去，三月不知肉味。

一曲馬賽曲，讓法國人振奮起來，把握了復國的契機。

本來人就是有感情的動物，就是因為有感情，所以成其為人。感情平日蘊藏於內心，靜如止水，波平浪靜；如受波動，便起共鳴，輕則漣漪水紋，微波盪漾，重則波瀾壯闊，甚至怒濤澎湃，巨浪排空。這時，有人會用文字來表現，那是詩；有人會用色彩、線條、圖案來表現，那是繪畫；最常的是用聲音來表現，那是音樂。

戀愛時，便想輕哼「紅豆詞」。

相思時，便想漫吟「教我如何不想他」。

想家時，便想低唱「白雲故鄉」。

想到親人時，便想和淚唱「天倫淚」。

想到多難的祖國，便想高歌「滿江紅」。

湯姆叔叔的小屋，唱出了黑奴籲天的心聲。

貝多芬甚至可為一個尊敬他的瞎子，彈奏出柔美的「月光曲」。

啊，多少感應！真切感應！有感斯應！

只願音樂使人由消沉變為振奮，由兇暴變為慈祥，由邪惡變為善良……從墮落中提升！

Response of the Music  Hsu ChiCheng

The music touches deepest to people, it’s hugest in influence.

A tune of “shao” the ancientmusic, made deep influence of Confucius, rippling his heart, don’t disappear for a long time, lose sense of taste.

A tune of La Marseillaise, made Frenchman rouse themselves up, and held the opportunity of reviving their country.

Human is the animal of sentiment originally, for they have sentiment, and do so to the human. Sentiment ferments in mind usually, quiet as still water, a lull in the sea; as slight, it will rouse resonance as if it rises and falls, and will ripple, microwave sways, when weight, it will surging, even raging waves, mountainous waves rouse onto sky. At that time, someone will show them with characters, it’s the poem; someone will show them with colour, line, pattern, it’s the paint; some one will show them with sound, it’s the music.

They will croon “Red Bean Song” while they fall in love.

They will chant softly“How could I not miss her”while yearning between lovers.

They will sing in bass “My home town in white cloud” while be homesick.

They will sing with tear “Tear of relationships between members of a family” while miss their own family.

They will sing loudly “Red all over the River” while think of their suffering homeland.

They will sing “Life Among the Lowly” in Uncle Tom’s cabin.

Even Ludwig van Beethoven will be a respectable blind man, he played“Fever Version”.

Oh, how many response! True response! Response while there is a feeling!
