芙蓉很入畫，所以很多人都喜歡畫它。

以前在台北讀書的時候，去「國際學舍」找朋友，在外面空地的圍籬那邊看到整排的芙蓉樹，群體開花的時候真的是熱鬧繽紛，美麗極了。

不過芙蓉雖美，卻只能開一天。早晨初綻時為白，到十點多轉為粉紅，是最美麗的時刻，中午以後開始轉為深紅，傍晚再轉成黑紅，晚上就凋謝了——很像美女的一生。

Hibiscus is good to fit in a painting, so many people like to draw it.

When I was studying in Taipei, I went to the International School for my friend and saw a whole row of hibiscus around the fence of outside open space. When it is blossoming, it is real lively and beautiful.

Though hibiscus is beautiful, it stays only a day. It is white in the early morning when beginning bloom then it turns to be pink at around ten o'clock and this is the most beautiful moment, afternoon it turns to be deep red, it turns to be dark red at twilight, faded at night - more like a life of beautiful girl.@
