A 59-year-old Brazilian bricklayer shocked his family and friends when he walked into his own funeral on Monday.

Ademir Jorge Goncalves, known by friends as "Typhoon", was reportedly killed in a car crash in Santo Antonio de Platina Sunday night.

When his sister, Vera Lucia Goncalves, went to identify the body, she said it was badly disfigured but the clothes on the corpse were similar to something her brother wore.

News of his death quickly spread after being reported on a local radio station. When Goncalves was spotted Monday morning, after spending the night out drinking with friends. He was rushed to his funeral to clear up the confusion.
