你的汗如雨般落下。夫子
你的影子是你
但虚无；你的呼声也是你
只是落地无声

你站着，脸上已丛生了草木
袖管里也是集满了青苔
虽然有人为之退避三舍
而你胸中的花朵依然不计结果
无所为而为之地开落

蒯草由水浒向你所站的地方蔓延
蓝天也在水中渐次生銹
何故你依然生长不止呢？夫子
你已在水中独自站立整整十年了

哎哎，你的影子被你踩得呼疼了

In land of Shou Ma, there isn’t any shadow on the ground if standing upright, and there isn’t any echo when shouting loudly. It is sweltering all the year round there and not good for living or traveling.

For keeping standing too long, your companions fell in faint one after another
But you stand as before. You are standing in water

This is Shou Ma, a vacuum zone
Doldrums. Someone once said to himself: “Never go there!”
Yes, old pedant, a few visitors can be seen here

Now, the summer season stands on the equator
It is too hot. At noon
You are sweating all over. O, old pedant
The shadow on the ground is yours but ethereal
The shouting voice is yours
But soundless when falling on the ground

While standing, your face is overgrown with bushes and trees
And your sleeves are filled with moss
Though someone keeps a good distance for that
The flowers in your chest keep opening then withering
Regardless of any fruits

Wool grass is growing and spreading towards the spot on which you stand from marshes
The blue sky is getting rusty in water
But what for do you live endless? Old pedant
You have been standing in water all alone for ten years
