攏嘛是訬鬼仔殼造成的
害人看不清，分不明
唉，為什麼不脫下來呢？
為什麼呢？

黑的白的紅的綠的……
哭的笑的悲的歡的……
訬鬼仔殼，大家攏嘛戴著
啊，這是什麼世界。

註：「訬鬼仔殼」，台語，面具也；一般以為，戴了，正所以裝瘋賣傻也。
裝瘋賣傻的台語，有人用「誚」字，作者則贊成連雅堂在【台灣語典】中所主張的「訬」字。誚字意羞赧或責讓，較少裝瘋賣傻意，訬字則有擾意或驚秒急疾意，引申為裝瘋賣傻較合宜。

Pretence of affection and goodness, pretence of god and devil
All are told like this
In fact, is it right or wrong to tell like this?

There are people of every sort around the world
Who is the true one? And who is the false one?
All this is made by the mask
Let us can’t view clear, can’t tell them apart
Alas, why don’t we take off them?
Why?

There is the black, the white, the red, the green…
There is the tear, the laugh, the lament, the joy…
All we put on
Oh, what the world is?

Note: The mask, sounds “chiaguaka” in the language of Taiwan, everybody deems, put on it, just to feign madness and act like an idiot. The language of feign madness and act like an idiot someone pronounce “qiao”, the author agrees with “chao” as the statement in “The Classical Words and Phrases of Taiwan Language” made by Lian Ya Tan. The word “qiao” inclines to mean shy or condemn, less the mean of feign madness and act like idiot”, it’s more appropriate to be “feign madness and act like an idiot” with pronounce “chao”. @
