這張畫是用包裝紙畫就的。原本是用來包衣物及皮件的紙，皺皺的，把紙攤平，灑上水，再用熨斗燙平。雖則不十分平整，但也可以拿來作畫了。

畫什麼好呢？

前些日子，去鄉下閒步，在一戶人家的屋簷下看到他們用大塑膠桶裝上泥土種著佛手柑，樹叢上已然結實纍纍。佛手柑的果實成熟了，黃色的果皮十分亮麗耀眼，忍不住彎下腰來仔細端詳一番。

就畫佛手柑吧。

種佛手柑的主人說佛手柑愛乾淨，如果不潔的人摸了它，從此以後，它就不再開花結果了，不知道是不是真的？

This painting was made on packaging paper. The paper was originally used to wrap clothing and leather goods. I spread out the creased paper, sprinkled some water on it, and ironed it flat. Although not completely flat, it can be used for painting.

And what did I decide to paint?

I went to the countryside to take a walk a few days ago. I saw that the people at one house had planted bergamots in large plastic buckets filled with soil, and that the trees were bearing lots of fruit. The yellow skin of ripe bergamots is extremely striking. I felt impelled to bend over and take a good look at the trees and fruit.

So I decided to paint bergamots.

The owner of the bergamot trees said that bergamots love cleanliness, and a tree that has been touched by an unclean person will no longer have flowers or bear fruit. I have no idea whether this is true or not.＠
