有好一阵子，我尝试玩一玩泼墨及泼彩──以大色块大墨块来构图──当时纯是想玩一玩和别人不一样的东西，试试而已。但就在泼墨洒彩的过程当中，我获得了极大的饱足──色彩与墨彩的饱足。

俗谚说：“境随心转。”挥墨淋色的快意中，确然能转化自我的心境。不受限、不拘泥于某一种章法格式，笔随意走，跟着自己的感觉走进画里去。

I once experimented with splashed ink and splashed color for a period of time, and I made some compositions with large blocks of color and ink. I was just playing around in those days, and trying to make paintings that were different from other people's. I obtained great satisfaction from the process of splashing ink and color, however.

An old proverb states, "your mood will follow your heart," and the pleasure of splashing ink and paint indeed changed my state of mind. I felt unconfined to any particularly stylistic format, and I plunged into painting as my feelings dictated.　＠
