浪潮不斷洶湧
一波甫落，一波又起……

啊，鑼鼓不停敲打，一陣緊似一陣，咚嗆咚嗆……
啊，風雲驟起，天昏地暗，風雪交加，寒氣催逼……
啊，群獸惡鬥，尖爪利嘴齊出，虎嘯，獅吼，狼嗥……
啊，眾蛇爭前，昂首，張口，吐信……
啊，戰爭正烈，烽火亂竄，硝煙蔽天，槍炮齊鳴……
啊，惡魔厲鬼為虐，魑魅魍魎橫行，妖氛籠罩……

所以，雷鋒塔已經頹倒，六和塔也已傾斜（註）
不知道還有什麼可以不墜入冬夜，隨時光而去？

註：雷鋒塔已於1924年倒塌，唯現在又已重建。

Roaring waves
One subsided when another rise…

Oh, the sound of beating drum and gongs…
Listening louder and louder…
Oh, rising wind, rolling clouds and blinding snowstorm dark all round, bitterly cold…
Oh, all wild animals are in a fist fight with their sharp teeth and claws, lions roaring, tigers and wolves howling…
Oh, countless snakes flocking toward, with their heads high holding, mouths widely opening and tongues stretching out…
Oh, hail of bullets, smoke-laden, smoke of war rising from all sides, a bitter battles…
Oh, demons and monsters dancing in riotous revelry, evil spirits and ghosts running wild and evil wind blowing…

So Thunder Peak Pagoda has collapsed and Liuhe Pagoda began to lean
I don’t know what else will not fall into winter night and go away with time?
