2013年，我在台中大墩文化中心個展。一位老先生拉著我，找到掛在牆角的一幅畫作，說：「你就畫你這樣的畫，其它的就讓別人去畫。」他當時很鼓勵我用大色塊、大墨塊的構圖，認為這樣的畫很有特色，也很有張力。

如今，隨著年歲的增長，年逾古稀的我，卻不自覺的又慢慢的走回頭路，開始玩起墨來了，漸漸的在墨韻中去發現，並找到水墨交融的真趣。

In 2013, my individual exhibition was held at the Da dun Cultural Center in Taichung. An old gentleman grabbed me to find a painting hanging on the corner and said, "You just draw painting like you drew this one, leave others with other people" He encouraged me to use large color block, large ink block for composition, he thought that this kind of painting is very unique, character and very tension.

Nowadays, as I am getting older, more than seventy years old, unconsciously and slowly return to back route, starts playing Chinese ink, and gradually explore from the ink rhyme and find the true interest of blend ink and wash.@
