STORY:
The chairman of the Indonesian World Record Museum is awarding Ford Indonesia and "Infinity," a special club for Ford Fiesta car users. It’s to mark their success in holding a conference call between 50 Ford Fiesta cars for one hour… using the cars’ built in hands free phone system.
印尼世界纪录博物馆馆长正在颁奖给福特印尼和“无限”，一个福特嘉年华轿车用户的特别俱乐部。这是在庆祝他们成功地利用汽车上建置的免持免费通话系统，在50辆福特嘉年华轿车上召开达一小时的电话会议。

It allows the driver to communicate through voice instructions with the use of a teleconference room provided by a third party… a new experience for people on the go.

"Today’s record is special because it had never happened before. There is a community of car owners with the same brand using their cars… as well as the telecommunications technology to establish a social network. It is actually very good. They can be pioneers. And hopefully later other car communities can also form a community like this."

In December 2010, the Indonesian government banned the use of handheld phones while driving. Drivers instead required a hands-free device like a headset while driving.

In 2010, there were over 6,000 automobile accidents in Indonesia and over 100 of them were caused by distracted drivers talking on the phone while driving.
