从前有个贩马商，有匹骏马要出售。可是，他一连在市场站了三个早上，也没有人赏识那匹骏马，于是便找伯乐帮忙。

他对伯乐说：“我有匹骏马出售。可是，我一连在市场站了三个早上，也没有人前来问津。请您帮我一个忙：明早到市场去，环绕我的马走一个圈，跟着停下来仔细观察，然后在离去前再多看一眼。我自会好好地酬报您！”

伯乐答应了他，第二天早上便到市场去，环绕骏马走了一圈，跟着停下来仔细观察，然后在离去前又再看一眼。

伯乐一走，人们马上围住贩马商和他的马。还不到中午，马的身价已涨十倍。

The Horse Trader

There was once a horse trade who had a fine horse to sell. He had stood at the market place for three successive mornings, but nobody seemed to notice his fine horse.

Finally, he had to seek the help of Bo Le,the famous judge of horse-flesh.
"I have a fine horse to sell," he told Bo Le. "However, I've stood at the market place for three successive mornings, but nobody was interested enough to ask me even a single question.

"Please do me a favour," he urged Bo Le. "Go to the market place tomorrow morning and walk around my horse once. STop to take a close look. Before you leave, ake another look. I'll pay you well for the day's work."

"Bo Le agreed to help and went to the market place the next morning. After walking around the horse once, he stopped to take a close look. Before he left, he also took another look.

The moment Bo Le walked away, people gathered around the horse trader and started asking questions about the horse. Before noon, the price of the horse had increased tenfold.
