我们画画有一个习惯──拿到纸就画，从不管它的大小。但是有时会有例外，那就是给学生临摹的画稿。当作“课徒”用的画稿都裁成一定的规格，好保管，也好整理。

正因为要有统一的规格，因此在大量裁纸时，就裁成一定的尺寸，存放备用。

这张小画就是如此，随便抽出一张备用的空白纸，拿笔随意涂一下、抹两下，构成一张画。不管好坏，不管成败，每天画一些，自我期许，自己向自己交待，不是无所事事，不是白白的过一天。

学生常问：“这么多构图的画稿，灵感哪里来？”我诚实的告诉她们：“画多了，自然会就有了。”

朋友们，赶快拿纸拿笔来画画吧。

I have a habit when I'm painting-I start as soon as I pick up a piece of paper, and I never pay any attention to its size. But I sometimes make exceptions. I let my students use some paintings as models, and they have to be cut to certain specifications. It's easy for me to keep them and take care of them.

Because these paintings need to have unified specifications, I make a few backups when I am cutting large amounts of paper.

This small painting is one of these standard models. I can pull out a backup piece of blank paper, pick up a brush, take a few strokes, and compose a painting. It doesn't matter whether it's good or bad, or whether it's a successful painting or not, but I always do some painting every day. I consider this my responsibility; I don't want to stay idle and waste each day.

My students often ask me: "Where do you get the inspiration for so many paintings with different compositions?" I honestly answer them: "I paint a lot, so I naturally have many paintings."
