雪景很入畫，畫起來張張都討好。

遠山積雪皚皚，在紫黑色的天空映襯之下稍顯孤寂；但山腳下的人家卻是忙碌而熱鬧呢──此刻炊煙裊裊，當是正午時分，一家子也準備要上桌吃飯了。

你看他們住家屋頂上積滿了一層白雪，天寒地凍的，或許他們門前也堵佇了一堆厚雪，門都開不了，正待努力去剷雪呢。

這畫裡，我們採用暖色系來表現，不令觀者感到寒意，反而有一股溫潤的貼心呢。

Snow scenes are good to paint, and make very pleasing paintings.

Thick snow cloaks the distant mountains, which appear a bit lonely against the purplish-black sky. The hamlet at the foot of the mountains appears bustling and cheerful, however, and smoke curls up from the houses. A family is preparing to eat as noon arrives.

The roof of their house is covered with a layer of snow. The weather is bitterly cold, and perhaps the drifted snow prevents them from opening their door. They will have to do some hard shoveling to get out.

The warm colors I used in this painting will not make viewers feel cold; in fact the painting may even warm their hearts.＠
