和父母辈及兄弟姊妹辈交谈
习惯用台语和国语
和子女辈交谈
习惯用台语、国语和英语
现在我有了你这个惟一的外孙女
现在虽然才四岁多，用的语言
却除了台语、国语、日语和英语
还多了一种我听不懂的法语

随着岁月的年轮转动
用语如滚雪球
越来越多
将来不知还会增加什么语言？

Talk with parents and brothers and sisters
I used to speak the languages of Taiwanese and Chinese
Talk with children
I used to speak the languages of Taiwanese, Chinese and English
And now I have you, the unique daughter of my daughter’s daughter
In spite of using the languages of Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese and English
There adds the language of French which I don’t know
Though you are four years of age

Follow the rolling of the annual rings
The languages we used become richness more and more
Just as the rolling of the snowball
I don’t know whether there will add what languages in the future?@
