梅是四君子之一，很多老師教畫，率多由四君子開始教起，是進入花鳥畫的起手式。

歷來詠梅、頌梅的詩句繁多，什麼「一枝清冷月明中」，什麼「暗香浮動月黃昏」等等，不勝枚舉。不過讓我看得最倒胃的說法是當年登在《中央日報》的一篇馬屁文章，說梅花為什麼是我們的國花？是因為每朵梅花都是「三蕾五瓣」，象徵我們的三民主義、五權憲法——真是胡扯。

Throughout the history of extoling Plum poetry is numerous such as "A plum stands in cold moon" and "Aroma floating on twilight moon", etc., too many to be sampled. But the one most made me sick was the flattering article published in the Central Daily News in which it said that plum stands for national flower.

is it because every plum blossom grows with "three buds and five leaves," which symbolizes our Three Principles of the People and the Five Rights of Constitution – what a nonsense.@
