远处有两三道不小的瀑布奔流而下，冲激到山脚下的一泓深潭。潭上的小岛上有人在上面盖了一座凉亭。要到凉亭那里，必先经过一条长而曲折的木桥。此刻有三两行人正在桥上走过，还带着一只小狗儿呢。
这里是绿的世界，凉亭四周所能看到的都是盎然的“绿”，加上瀑布的水声，充目盈耳尽是“诗情”与“画意”。此时如有微风轻拂，一定会令人暑气全消。
明年的暑假，我们到那儿去打棋听谿声如何？
Two or three large waterfalls are rushing down in the distance, and flowing into a deep lake at the foot of the mountain. A pavilion has been built on a small island in the lake. A long and winding wooden bridge leads out to the pavilion. Two or three people happen to be walking out on the bridge, along with a doggie.
That is a green world, and we see lush green on all sides of the pavilion. The luxuriant vegetation and sound of the waterfalls create a pleasing combination of poetry and views artistry. A bit of breeze right now would make the heat of summer vanish.
How about if we go here to play chess and listen to the valley sound next summer vacation?＠
