绿绣眼总在那里拉着小提琴
琴音随着它的身影

和小猫发出的喵声一样细嫩绵长
以琴弦的丝线去绣出各种各样的形象
而茅草地和蔗园更是一个广阔无边的世界
裁缝鸟更在那里忙着裁剪缝制
从这枝裁剪缝制到那枝，又裁剪缝制到另一枝
噗噗地裁剪缝制着，一记又一记
如小鼓手敲出的轻巧美妙的鼓乐
有节奏地裁制出另一个和平景观
两种同样小巧的乐器彼此搭配
此拉彼敲，或同拉同敲
此起彼伏，或同起同伏
合奏出一曲奇特的小小乐曲
以其声音的光芒把田野彩饰得金碧辉煌
在那广阔的田野，在那远远的我的童年

One raises and falls another, or raises and falls together
Plays together a little special music
The rays of light painting the field into splendid
On the wide field, on my remote childhood
