四十年前曾經去武陵農場旅遊，但見眾多老榮民在農場上種植高冷蔬菜，空氣中充滿雞屎、豬糞的味道，蒼蠅滿天飛。後二十年再去，已然人去山空，老榮民的房舍也被拆光了，杳無去處。原種高麗菜的斜坡改種櫻花，因為植株尚小，稀稀疏疏的，殊乏看頭。

近年再度前往，櫻花樹已蔚然成林。開花時節，滿山遍谷，怒放時有如「煙花三月」，遊人如織，已然是另一處著名的旅遊景點了。

Forty years ago, I made a tour to Wu Ling Farm, saw many veterans planted high-cold vegetables on the farm. The air filled with the smell of chickens’ and pigs’ feces, flies are everywhere. After twenty years, I made a tour to Wu Ling Farm again, veterans already gone and left with empty mountain, the veterans’ old houses also tore down, no one knows where they are now. The originally cabbage planted slope has been replaced by cherry blossoms, which are still small, sparse, not worth seeing.

In recent years I visited again, cherry trees have grown up.  In blossom season, they are fully filled with mountains and valleys, in full blooming moment it is just like "fireworks in March,", full of visitors, it already became a famous tourist point.@
